I just got back from a
night out, girlfriend is sleeping so I can’t call and there is far too much
alcohol in my system so I’m going to ramble on for a bit.
Not updated my blog
for a while… i blame mimi – she takes up all my spare time (and I’m pretty she’s
going mad, see her latest testimonial to me… yes babe, u’r a shoe…. And I’m a
shoe too!!).
X-mas is over! In my
opinion it is the most overrated day of the year. Still, nice for kids and
brings the family together. I feel its done for traditions sake more than
anything (unless you are religious of course). I spent my X-mas at church (keeps
folks very happy and only once a year, just grit teeth, grin and bear it!). I
mean… seriously – I’m 23 now, do I REALLY need to hear the religious X-mas
story for the 500000th million time? After the 4 hour sermon (Yawn) we had X-mas
dinner (now we’re talking!).It felt kinda surreal catching up with some old friends
– people I once had lots in common seem really distant now. I suppose it’s
because everyone has taken different paths in life; changing them as people so
you might not be able to relate to them in the same way you used to.
Ooooo me and Jackie
decided to go back packing this summer… (A tenner says she won’t be able to
hack it and will back out!). Really want to do it personally. I would love to
travel and visit obscure places in the world – would be an adventure and plus
we are young – we should do these things, if you don’t do it now then you will
never do it.
Never have been a huge
fan of new years – a time to drink copious amounts of alcohol and party till
the break of dawn. I don’t understand, if I wanted to do that then I would do
it anyway, regardless of date (I suppose it’s different if you are working 9 –
5 like the majority of people out there). Despite this, new year celebrations
were a blast. Big house party round mine and about 30 people turned up form all
over the
UK
although the
Liverpool
crowd seemed to dominate. Free flowing alcohol
and extremely vindictive drinking games ensured sobriety was thrown out of the
window within the first few hours. We
managed to make a massive hole into a wall in the house too which is always a
sign of a good party (shit!!!! Bye bye deposits!)! At the end of the night, I
stumbled back to my room for bed only to be woken up. A random girl was
throwing up into the bucket left outside my room at 6:00AM (why there was a
bucket outside my room I will never know) – it was not the most pleasant of
sounds to wake up to. 3 days and we still haven’t cleaned up after the party! Our
living room looks like world war 3 had just taken place and the kitchen will
get rats if nothing is done… looks like tomorrow is going to be a tidy-up day
for us.
My work load has been
heavy over the festive season since employees are off leaving all the emails
and sales to me… how fun… NOT! New website is launching in the next week which I’m
really excited about – loads of community tools and a new approach that side of
the business. Can’t wait to see how it works out but more importantly, Can’t
wait for staff to return to work…
I miss my baby… been
chatting every night till we fall asleep. Sweet isn’t it? But wait till the
phone bill comes – won’t be so sweet then! I stayed at Amy’s parent’s house for
the first time – felt uncomfortable at first but I have to say they are the
coolest parents EVER. Everything is going so well right now; feels like I’m in
my ideal relationship and the important things are exactly the way I want them.
I’m with the most understanding, sweetest, patient and last but not least
sexiest girlfriend a guy can ever ask for (I think I’ll stop before I give her
a big head!).
Slightly worried about
mimi’s ability to kick ass on puzzle bobble… I mean REALLY kick ass…(beginners
luck!)!
Off to see my mong
princess for a few days on weds or thurs because apparently according to her
the last time didn’t count because I only stayed one night… hehe don’t you just
love the logic that goes on inside the mind of mimi?
Sleepy head…
Bedtime!!
Nite nite y’all.
